The Project
A Pharmaceutical facility in Leeds required the creation of a new room designed to house a Clean in Place (CIP) sanitisation system supporting enhanced hygiene and product safety procedures. The project required impact-resistant finishes that would improve durability and maintain a professional, hygienic appearance.
The Challenge
This project presented a number of practical challenges, including the need to accommodate 3.6-metre-high ceilings alongside restricted access points throughout the building. In addition, the works were required to be delivered to tight deadlines, with installation taking place out of hours to minimise disruption to the operational environment.
The Solution
The I-Gienic Smooth Hygienic Impact Protection Sheet system was installed to provide a durable, easy-clean surface ideal for pharmaceutical settings. Manufactured from non-porous PVC-u, the sheets are Class O fire rated, chemical resistant, and meet EC hygiene standards, offering long-term protection against impact and contamination. The seamless finish achieved ensures a professional appearance while supporting the client’s strict hygiene and durability requirements.
