As a leading UK manufacturer of solutions designed to protect doors, people, and places, we have now made the eagerly anticipated move to a larger, purpose-built premises to allow for the continued delivery of our exciting strategic growth plans.

The business, which remains privately owned, has now moved from its Doncaster based roots, just a few miles down the road to a new business park on the outskirts of Pontefract in South Kirkby.

Our MD, Steve Woodhead offers his thoughts: “The time had come to find something that matched our plans for growth over the next ten years and this new site came with new opportunities and potential. The new location has improved production space, facilities, parking, and suitable access and egress for our transport fleet. It will allow us to extend our product portfolio, improve the services that we offer, expand our production capacity and continue to invest in new equipment to deliver our business objectives.”

In the coming months, additional personnel will be recruited to support the increase in production, and a new training and innovation centre will be created to enhance the customer experience and document the story behind our business, our values, and the markets in which we operate.

Steve added: “We have been manufacturing products for over 30 years and the last 12 months have been incredibly busy with new product innovations and large-scale projects coming in. It was important to us to continue delivering on our customers’ expectations whilst making this transition.  We knew there would be a lot of hard work involved in moving from our 12000 sq. ft premises to a 20,000 sq. ft premises but our teams’ have delivered the results and made this move a success through their determination, perseverance, and teamwork. It has been a real success story. “

It’s now the start of another exciting chapter in Intastop’s history and with a view to making an impact and driving forward innovation and design in the business, the healthcare and anti-ligature market, education sector along with public buildings and the leisure industry will see many more solutions and support to manage the ever-changing demands within the UK construction and maintenance industry.
