Some of our ladies will be trekking the mountainous terrain of Yorkshire in aid of Doncaster charity, Eve’s Trust.
Our own Sarah Barsby Marketing & HR Director and Helen Dillon-Pearson of local marketing company, Flourish Marketing & PR, along with Intastop’s marketing manager, Marie Hanby, receptionist Cath Purser and Commercial Director Alison Ramsay are set to climb the Yorkshire three peaks in just 12 hours.
Sarah commented: “Intastop is a company driven by helping others, in the products we develop and manufacture through to the numerous charity events we organise and take part in. We know that Helen from Flourish is of the same mind as us so what better way than to join forces and do something for Eve’s Trust of which we know do a great job in supporting local people touched by life changing circumstances.”
Eve’s Trust is a charity founded by Doncaster People to help Doncaster people. The monies raised by the charity are given to those that are suffering with serious or terminally ill cancer for help towards fulfilling a dream or granting a wish.
Helen Dillon-Pearson, Director of Flourish Marketing and PR commented: “This is a tough challenge, one that we are training and preparing ourselves for, but not as difficult as those challenges faced by the people supported by Eve’s Trust.
I feel it is important to never remain complacent and continually push the boundaries in life and this is certainly a boundary I never imagined myself pushing however, I am looking forward to it and supporting local people via a great Doncaster charity.”
The Yorkshire Three Peaks takes in some of the most picturesque scenery the county has to offer. Starting at Pen-y-ghent the 25 mile trek takes in Whernside and Ingleborough which form part of the Pennine range encircling the head of the valley of the Ribble River in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The team will commence and complete the trek on 25th June. To support their efforts and help local charity Eve’s Trust pledge a donation here.
